Jesus did not only save us from sin — He made every believer a king and a priest. We share in the identity and function of Christ, who is the King of kings and High Priest in the order of Melchizedek. While Jesus holds absolute authority, believers exercise His delegated authority on earth. As He lives to intercede in heaven, we love and rule on earth through prayer.
