Jesus is the uncreated creator who in his eternal sovereignity incarnated as a human being whilst remaining eternally God. He loves humanity such that he became a man like us to redeem us his precious creation. He incarnated in the likeness of sinful human flesh though himself sinless unlike humanity. Therefore resurrection from the dead proved him to be God as he created a new kind of glorified human being not subject to death and sickness. He ascended back to heaven with his crucified and resurrected physical human body. In heaven he is Lord and God as a human being with a physical human body. So the term the Lord refers to Jesus person who went through incarnation crucifixion resurrection ascension glorification and enthronement. He is The Lord possessing heavenly and earthly Lordship.
