The Glorified Christ
Hair White as Wool and Snow
"His head and his hairs were white like wool, as white as snow; and his eyes were as a flame of fire" (Revelation 1:14, KJV)
The white hair of the Ancient of Days — Daniel's description of the eternal throne — is now worn by the glorified Jesus. This is a profound declaration of His eternal deity, absolute holiness, and unsearchable wisdom. He is not a prophet with new ideas; He is the eternal ancient One clothed in glorified humanity. Wool speaks of His earthly redemption work as the spotless Lamb of God who walked among men, while snow from above speaks of His heavenly origin and transcendent, uncreated holiness. In Him, the heavenly and the earthly meet in perfect righteousness
Jesus' eyes are as a flame of fire, piercing through every pretense with omniscient vision. In Revelation 5:6, these eyes are revealed as the seven eyes of the Lamb, which are the seven Spirits of God sent out into all the earth. Jesus is all-seeing and all-knowing. His flaming gaze searches our hearts to purify us from all dross, dispensing the sevenfold, intensified Holy Spirit into the earth to sanctify His church. Hallelujah!

Lord Jesus, You are clothed in eternal majesty and holiness. Your eyes are flaming fire, searching and purifying my heart. I yield to Your all-seeing wisdom and the life-giving work of Your Spirit today!
